RCMP Veterans Association Annual General Meeting, Delta Hotel, Regina, Sask.
It is a great honour that I have been invited to entertain the veterans of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police at their nation wide annual meeting in Regina.
Alberta Cowboy Poetry Assoc. Spring Preview, Carseland Community Hall, Carseland, Alberta
A preview of the fine western entertainment that is available throughout the year in Alberta for audiences of all ages.
"Alberta, The Maverick Province", Northumberland Learning Centre, Cobourg, Ontario
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about Alberta, the history, politics, flavour, and people. I am truly honoured for the invitation to participate in bringing my experience and personality to the series of seminars hosted by enlightened folks from the east. I am particularly tickled that Preston Manning is scheduled to kick off the series. Someone I admire and have shared mountain trails with. I will be making a power point presentation on May 7th with emphasis on western culture as it was and is today. Then on May 9th, I will be joined by Charlie Ewing to present a concert of music and poetry in the Cowboy Style.
Swalwell Concert Series - The Ed Peekeekoot Show.
This is an opportunity that should not be missed. Ed is a feature performer at the most prestigious western entertainment events throughout Canada and the USA. He is able to create sounds that duplicate his close roots in nature, the buffalo, northern lights and loon while also bringing to life the magic of Chet Atkins’ guitar. A unique entertainer “in the key of Cree”.
Master of Ceremonies - Bj Smith
Boundary Creek Hall
